As a state-certified hotel business economist, Peter Gummersbach has many years of experience in running gastronomic businesses: "We want an upscale, but not out-of-the-way gastronomy." Peter Gummersbach runs the business under this motto and sets the accents of our gastronomic quality in harmony with the history of our REBgut.
As a dedicated managing director, you will also find Peter Gummersbach in our own vineyard. There he convinces himself of the growth of our vines. And he draws inspiration for the tasteful composition of our wine list as the perfect accompaniment to culinary delights and events at the REBgut.

Cooking well with passion and creativity.
After his training and first kitchen experience in the Althoff Group, Alexander Nied moved to the top gastronomy in Zurich and then returned to Schloss Bensberg in North Rhine-Westphalia as sous chef. At REBgut, the young, ambitious chef wants to spoil his guests with ever-surprising creations and give them very special culinary experiences.
