As a cyclist, here in the region between Tauber river and Main river, you will find numerous bike tours with very different profiles and characters right in front of our REBgut. From sporting challenges and training routes to adventures trips, you plan your personal bike tours individually. The connection to the cycle path network is only a few minutes drive away.
- The “Liebliches Taubertal – der Klassiker” cycle path extends over 100 km from Rothenburg ob der Tauber to Wertheim the the Main river. It was already classified as the second cycle path with five stars by the General German Bicycle Club (ADFC) in 2009: an award that the ADFC repeated in 2019. In August 2013, it was named one of the ten best cycle routes in Germany by Stern magazine.
- "Liebliches Taubertal - der Sportive" leads over a little more than 160 km from Wertheim am Main via Boxberg to Freudenberg. The heights of the Tauber valley enchant with beautiful views and challenge with some sporty climbs and a total of over 1,800 meters of altitude. Our tip: e-bikes are particularly worthwhile here.
- With the "Wein-Radreise", our region also has an exciting bike tour especially for wine lovers. From Dörzbach to Miltenberg am Main it goes 240 km through parts of the three wine regions Baden, Franconia and Württemberg. Wonderful vineyards, numerous wineries and taverns in the valleys of the Main and Tauber river invite you to enjoying yourself.
If you don't bring your own bicycles, you can conveniently rent them here on site. A good possibility is renting through the mobile bike rental Taubertal. After booking on the Internet, your touring bikes and e-bikes will be conveniently delivered directly to the REBgut. The prices depend on the type of bike and the rental period.
